January 2025
One thing I’ve always loved about our region’s playgrounds is the sheer number of languages you can overhear while pushing your kid on the swing. With its world-class universities, diverse industries, and all-around awesomeness, the Triangle attracts a steady stream of newcomers from far and wide.
Foreign language camps give kids a chance to soak in all this cultural diversity on a whole new level. Most require no prior knowledge of the language, creating a welcoming environment where children can be exposed to a new language and culture through crafts, cuisines, and good fun.
Give one a try and you’ll be amazed just how quickly your kids can build their vocab with those little sponge-brains of theirs. Just resist the temptation to use them to cheat on your next Duolingo quiz! 😉
