Summer gets all the attention when it comes to camp, but with year-round schooling so prevalent in our area, many families need camp coverage all year long. Fortunately, the Triangle is home to a number of camps that operate year-round with flexible scheduling options to fit any track out or school break schedule.
Many of these camps also offer registration by the day, so kids on any school schedule can find a place to play the day away during teacher workdays, holiday breaks, and more.
With a focus on fitness and sports, these 7 fabulously flexible year-round camps keep kids engaged and energized at any time of the year.

1. Pro 3:5 Sports

PRO 3:5 Sports Academy offers sport-centric day camps throughout the year. Each high-energy day at camp promotes growth, creativity, and fun through sports, games, skills development, and athletic conditioning activities. With the option to register by the week, day, or half day, the flexible calendar has families covered for any track out schedule as well as teacher workdays, holiday breaks, and summer.
2. Sport HQ

Sport HQ offers multi-sport track out camps for kids ages 5-12 in full-day and half-day formats. Each day includes physical fitness exercises, stretches, and sports instruction with the activity changing every 45 minutes to give campers the opportunity to experience a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, futsal, hockey, dodgeball, and more. In addition to skill-building, counselors reinforce core values of respect, kindness, honesty, patience, and sportsmanship.
3. XL Sports World Apex

XL Sports World offers multi-sport track out camps for kids ages 5-13 in full-day and half-day formats year round. Campers explore a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, flag football, dodgeball, kickball, and inline skating for a fun, energetic day in a safe and controlled environment under the supervision of experienced instructors.

4. We Rock the Spectrum

We Rock the Spectrum offers year-round half-day track out, summer, teacher workday, and holiday camps with flexible scheduling by the day or week. With its unique sensory play gym, We Rock the Spectrum is designed to give neurotypical and neurodiverse children of all ability levels a place to play, learn, and grow together. Kids ages 3-10 can feel free to be themselves with physical play, arts and crafts, experiments, sensory projects, and group games to promote social skills.
5. Rock Solid Warrior

Rock Solid Warrior offers half-day, full-day, and week-long camp options throughout the year. Campers power through a variety of obstacles to build ninja warrior skills at an 80,000+ square foot facility specially designed for the sport. A typical day at camp includes ninja skill development, active games like dodgeball or capture the flag, board games, free play, and a character lesson with a gospel message. Rock Solid Warrior also offers summer camps with weekly themes and an array of ninja warrior classes and competitions.
6. Northwest Cary YMCA

YMCA Northwest Cary offers full-day track out camp all year, covering breaks for all four Wake county year-round tracks. With activities such as swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts, and STEM engagement, campers find friendships, think creatively, build confidence, learn new skills, stay active, and have fun in a safe environment.
7. Gymcarolina Gymnastics

Gymcarolina Gymnastics has a robust year-round camp calendar with weekly track out camps offered throughout the year in addition to 10 weeks of summer camp. Campers tumble, form friendships, and gain confidence in a fully-equipped gymnastic training facility with foam block castles, trampolines, and much more to explore.
