The Morningside School’s Adventure Camps are designed for children who enjoy exploring and learning about the world around them. Camp begins each day at a trailhead into Carolina North and Bolin Forest. Teachers and campers plan the day together and then head out to explore Bolin Creek, nearby natural areas, or “secret hideouts” around town. Camp days are largely spent exploring and discovering under the guidance of experienced and caring teachers, with time for group games, whittling, building with clay, and other art projects. Campers help document the adventures through drawings and photographs.
