The Art of S.T.E.M. inspires children to see learning as an adventure, embracing creativity, collaboration, and curiosity. Run by experienced educators, the program combines hands-on projects in art, drama, science, and engineering with plenty of opportunities for free play and social connection. Campers rotate through engaging spaces, from the Art and Science Room—where they paint, build sets, and experiment with fun science projects—to the Engineering and Technology Room, where they design forts, code robots, and bring their own stop-motion films to life. In the Drama and Movement Room, kids collaborate on a weekly skit, dance, or performance, gaining fluency and self-assurance while having fun with costumes, music, and play.
Every activity is thoughtfully crafted to introduce STEM concepts through artistic expression and creative problem-solving. Mixing paint to explore color theory becomes a lesson in science; building a pet hospital out of magnet tiles turns into an engineering challenge. Campers gain valuable skills in teamwork, resilience, and innovation, all while simply enjoying the process of discovery. A low camper-to-staff ratio ensures individualized attention, encouragement, and a safe, welcoming atmosphere where every child feels empowered to try something new.
