Montessori Day School opens its doors each summer to campers ages 3 to 8 for fun-filled summer camps. Each week, campers enjoy a variety of hands-on crafts and activities while exploring different themes. A leader in Montessori education in the Chapel Hill community for over 45 years, Montessori Day School emphasizes the social tenets of mutual respect, grace, inclusivity and courtesy among individuals. Its experienced teachers respect each child’s unique personality and embrace Maria Montessori’s philosophies, encouraging children to learn in their own way and to proceed at their own pace, promoting self-reliance and independence.
