Durham Parks and Recreation offers a variety of engaging camp experiences designed to keep youth active, creative, and connected all season long. With options for children and teens ages 5–17, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each camp location features unique programming, creating endless opportunities for fun and friendship. Traditional camps offer a full-day experience for school-aged children who love variety and adventure. Each day is filled with games, arts and crafts, swimming, sports, fitness, wellness activities, and day trips. Half-day camps are designed for flexibility and convenience, providing a half day of themed fun for school-aged children. Families can choose from morning or afternoon sessions (times vary by location). Teen programs offer a dynamic mix of recreation, social activities, and personal growth experiences. Tailored to middle and high school students, these camps foster inclusion, creativity, and leadership through fun and age-appropriate programming and a safe, engaging space where teens can connect, explore new interests, and build lifelong skills through interactive and creative activities.
