Glazed Expectations is a paint-it-yourself ceramic and sculpture studio that offers half-day ceramics camps each summer. Working with clay, glazes, and acrylics, campers hone their artistic skills while transforming their ideas into sculptural and painted pieces. With guidance from a friendly, knowledgeable staff, young artists gain the type of confidence that can only come from seeing their imagination come to life! Campers enjoy a mix of structured instruction and imaginative freedom, making everything from coil pots and mystical creatures to vibrant painted ceramics. Throughout the week, they experiment with different tools and materials. As their skills grow, so does their excitement to take home their finished pieces—some fired in the kiln, others decorated with bright, fast-drying acrylics.
