Camp Kanata offers a classic summer camp experience where kids and teens can discover the outdoors, build friendships, and gain confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Set on 150 acres of woods, trails, and a beautiful lake, camp life is filled with opportunities for fun, adventure, and personal growth.
Each day, campers choose from a variety of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, climbing the Alpine Tower, or racing down the double water slide. Sports, games, and creative pursuits round out the schedule, while evening cabin time for overnight campers encourages reflection, connection, and laughter with friends. Counselors guide campers in setting personal goals—whether it’s earning a higher swim band or tackling a fear of heights—helping them achieve a sense of accomplishment.
A no-electronics policy ensures that campers can be fully present, engaging face-to-face and forming authentic connections. At Camp Kanata, every child is welcomed and valued, with an emphasis on respect, responsibility, caring, and honesty. Through shared experiences and inclusive traditions, campers discover a second home where they can be their best selves and grow into tomorrow’s leaders.
