OWL Sex Ed Camp offers a fun, engaging, and thoughtful summer experience where adolescents can explore essential topics about relationships, identity, and sexual health in a safe and welcoming environment. Based on the nationally respected “Our Whole Lives” (OWL) curriculum, this program blends age-appropriate education with the energy and connection of summer camp. Campers participate in interactive workshops and small-group activities that spark honest conversations and encourage self-reflection. The curriculum offers accurate, comprehensive information while supporting each camper in developing their own values and decision-making skills. Led by experienced and trained facilitators, the program builds confidence, respect, and critical thinking through meaningful dialogue and collaborative games. OWL Sex Ed Camp equips young people with tools for lifelong well-being. It affirms the dignity of each participant, challenges stereotypes, and empowers teens to make informed, responsible choices as they navigate adolescence and prepare for high school and beyond.

Celena Urquia is a trained Our Whole Lives (OWL) facilitator with over 10 years of experience teaching multiple levels of the curriculum in both community and faith-based settings. She is currently completing her certification as a professional sexuality educator through the Sexual Health Alliance. She primarily offers classes for middle- and high-school youth, as well as parent workshops designed to build confidence and comfort in having conversations about sex. Celena is passionate about empowering students of all ages to build confidence, knowledge, and healthy values related to all aspects of their sexuality. She especially loves group facilitation and believes it is a powerful tool for connection and experiential learning.
