Emerson Waldorf School’s summer camps cultivate the magic of childhood in an inclusive, enriching environment. Rooted in a philosophy that honors the unique gifts of every child, the camp experience nurtures body, mind, and spirit through creativity, movement, and meaningful connection. Surrounded by natural beauty and anchored by an inviting Kindergarten playground, campers spend their days immersed in imagination and outdoor discovery.
Arts and crafts, storytelling, nature walks, water play, and generous stretches of outdoor free play create a joyful rhythm to each day. Campers cool off in wading pools, build friendships through cooperative games, and explore hands-on projects inspired by weekly elemental themes such as earth, water, wood, and fire. Rather than focusing on just one activity, children rotate through a variety of experiences, mirroring the balanced flow of a school day and keeping curiosity alive.
Guided by experienced Waldorf educators, campers are encouraged to practice compassion, creativity, and reverence for the world around them. Whether constructing, splashing, imagining, or creating, children leave each day happily tired—grounded in nature, inspired by beauty, and confident in their growing abilities.
