Durham Academy Summits offer campers the chance to take a deep dive into specific areas of interest under the guidance of expert instructors in STEM, the arts, sports, and more. Based at the Upper School area of the school’s 84-acre campus, the camp’s state-of-the-art facilities and expansive green spaces give campers room to play, imagine, and grow. Each week offers a tantalizing array of focus areas to spark the interest of any child. From hands-on learning experiences in mechanical engineering and LEGO robotics to specialized skills like baking, basketball, and jewelry-making, campers can spend all week doing what they love while making new friends and having a blast. Supported by dedicated staff and grounded in Durham Academy’s mission, each Summit experience creates a warm, spirited community where campers build confidence, stretch their abilities, and discover new passions.
