ISLA Verano is a fully outdoor Spanish immersion camp where children enjoy a summer of adventure, discovery, and fun at Eno River State Park. Designed for rising K–5th grade students with or without prior Spanish experience, the camp blends language learning with rich cultural exploration—all in a natural setting that keeps kids active and engaged. Each week at ISLA Verano transports campers to a different Latin American country through the camp’s signature “Un Viaje de Aventuras” theme. Children dive into the culture with hands-on activities like crafting traditional art, cooking regional dishes, experimenting with science projects, writing, dancing, and playing games—all while building Spanish vocabulary naturally through conversation and play. Set beneath the shaded trees of the park, the camp’s outdoor environment offers plenty of room to explore, create, and connect with nature. Campers cool off each afternoon with supervised splash time at the river. Guided by caring, energetic counselors, ISLA Verano nurtures curiosity, cultural appreciation, and a love for learning.
