Nature Explorers offers outdoor camps designed to reintroduce children to their natural habitat. With Triangle Land Conservancy’s beautiful 296-acre Johnston Mill Nature Preserve as their playground, children learn to be stewards of the land as they forge a deep connection with the enchanting forest ecosystem along the waters of New Hope Creek.
Nurturing the 3 C’s—curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking—each day’s adventure is based in nature and powered by imagination. Exploration is guided by caring, experienced educators who support children as they ask questions, make discoveries, and help one another as campers build forts from branches, stack rocks in the creek, create mud paintings, or take on group challenges.
With plenty of time for unstructured play, kids engage their senses, connect with friends, and strengthen their confidence in an environment that celebrates both imagination and cooperation. Small groups ensure that every child feels part of a close-knit community while enjoying the simple joys of being outside.
